Cyclic testing of unreinforced masonry walls in two‐way bending
The validated model is used to undertake a parametric study investigating the effects of numerous parameters on out-of-plane wall stability. In situ free-vibration tests on unrestrained and restrained rocking masonry walls. The illustrations show an unfolded view of the walls including returns. Initial testing was performed on each wall with zero overburden load applied, resulting in wall cracking and the development of post-cracking displacements of up to approximately 70% of the wall thickness. Based on the results of the modelling, an updated out-of-plane assessment procedure is proposed.

Based on the results of the modeling, an updated out-of-plane assessment procedure is proposed. Codes for the purpose of controlling cracks resulted from shrinkage are ignored. This paper develops a pair of analytical methodologies that treat this phenomenon using a stochastic approach. Allow extra form values to be added before form is submitted.
