When my husband went over and asked them about it one of the workers said “”it happens””. It they were smart enough to warn us about the possible falling bricks then they should have been smart enough to warn us about the dust so we could have moved our cars.

This is a fine dust that can’t just be wiped off because it will scratch the paint on the cars. The trick was in finding matching brick. The estimator was very informative and helpful as well as the guys that repaired the chimney. They did the work on time when they were scheduled. Portland chimney was about right in the middle. The team worked like mad to finish the project in one day (since our electricity needed to be shut off for the work) and the chimney work looks good.

The difference was noticeable and the improvement in ventilation is so worth it!
